To the people replying to my post about in IN PERSON SCHOOLING. I could have replied to each but feel this hot subject should be a more open community post.

I totally get people are all wanting to get back to normal day to day activities, but saying we can send our kids back to school because they are responsible and can do schooling in person safely is like saying “its just a flu”, and it will pass. If we had responsible adults, when we were shut down as a nation, we could have eradicated this virus by ISOLATING for the 14 days, even a month. “No” that couldn’t happen because people started crying about their rights and it was TO HARD. Well how did that work out?? 9 months into it, 260,000 lives lost, still no active vaccine and people getting sick and more deaths every day. GREAT PLAN, NOT!! So saying your child is grown up enough to be responsible and crying because they are not having a normal school year, can’t hang with friends and isolated is just showing how selfish and immature you are as the parent. I’m sick of this virus too, but until we have the population vaccinated against this killer we are never going to have normal anything, people whining about their rights in this fashion isn’t going to help, cure or speed up getting things back to normal, but it will create more tension, divide and death.

So people, please think of the SHORT TERM, and lets get though this together, some things can and will have to wait.
