New Location for Local Clothing Drive

LITTLE EGG HARBOR , NJ – For those looking to bring all unwanted clothes to support Cadette Troop 518 of the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore – Shore Pines Region the location has changed for Clothing Drive on Saturday, February 6 from 9am to noon. The drive was scheduled for Church of the Holy Spirit but will now be at the Little Egg Harbor Community Center located at 319 W Calabreeze Way in Mystic Islands. 

The date and time remain the same as the troop will be collecting men, women and children’s clothing in all conditions. They will take all stuffed animals, blankets, comforters, towels, bedding, curtains and pillows. Other items accepted are shoes (bagged separately), purses, book bags and belts. Old bicycles and scooters can also be dropped off. For anyone who has donations, but cannot make the drive itself they can contact the coordinators to make arrangements. 

No electronics, appliances, CDs, tapes, books, car seats or strollers will be accepted. All funds raised will help these Girl Scouts plan trips, learn new skills and continue to help the community.
