Plano’s Legacy West adds California boutique, signals more store lineup changes coming soon

Legacy West is making some changes in its store lineup this spring starting this weekend with the opening of Paige, a boutique from Los Angeles. The shopping district scored major luxury brands last year and is continuing to evolve.

The 1,918-square-foot store between Suit Supply and Pockets sells casual clothing, including denim for men and women. Paige had a store at NorthPark Center that opened in 2018 and closed earlier this year. Paige has 15 stores in California, New York and Arizona and two stores in Texas, in Austin and Houston.

Mark Masinter, a managing member of Dallas-based Open Realty Advisors who has been leasing Legacy West’s retail since it opened in 2017, said there are a few more new stores in the works “with fantastic brands,” but he’s not able to reveal them yet.

After last year’s additions of luxury brands Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., Tory Burch and Chanel Beauty, “customers want us to bring more of the better brands,” Masinter said.

“Our merchandise strategy continues to evolve. We have our eye on certain brands” that add to the mix, he said. “Paige is considered one of the best if not the premier California lifestyle brand.”

Legacy West shops and restaurants are located on either side of its main street called Windrose Avenue. It’s part of a $3 billion project with hotel, residential and office towers. Office tenants include Liberty Mutual Insurance, JPMorgan Chase, FedEx Office and Boeing.

The available retail spaces are north of Tory Burch leading to the office towers across Windrose Avenue, including the reconfigured former Barnes & Noble space.
