The days leading up to Halloween can be a flurry of activity. Between putting the finishing touches on the Halloween costumes for kids and DIYing all of the clever and easy Halloween crafts for kids to preparing perfectly spooky Halloween treats, you’ll be making plenty of trips to the store for supplies. No matter how much you try to prepare things in advance, you’ll always need to make that one last trip to the store for the must-have finishing touch for a costume or one more bag of candy (because you never know how many trick-or-treaters will show up!).
You Halloween plans may look a different this year. Whether you’re hosting a few friends for a Halloween party, taking the kids around the neighborhood for trick-or-treat, or keeping things on a smaller scale, you’ll want to have a few fun surprises. And when you’re looking for a last-minute shopping trip, you’ll be looking for a one-stop shop, so you might be wondering if the nearest superstore is open.
Luckily for you, Target will be open on Halloween. While Target announced reduced store hours and dedicated shopping hours for vulnerable guests in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, stores across the country remain open and ready to fill shopper’s needs. This means that if you have any last-minute Halloween shopping to do, most stores are open from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. with many offering special shopping hours for seniors and other vulnerable guests. Additionally, stores are monitoring the number of shoppers in the store at any one time, so you might experience a line during peak times. If you’d rather not go inside, many Target locations offer same-day delivery and drive-up services. To find out your exact hours, check out Target’s store hours here.
If you don’t have a Target nearby, we have a list of other stores open on Halloween, as well as a few restaurant chains. Have a spooktacular time!
