Bead Fest is a place to learn no matter what your skill set is. As a beginner myself, I’m excited to learn in this welcoming space where I can ask experts questions and gain abilities in my craft. Bead Fest has courses for everyone ranging from advanced to classes aimed at those who are brand new to jewelry and beading.

New this year, you can choose from special classes perfect for those just learning a new medium or method. Tammy Honaman was part of the original Bead Fest 20 years ago and she’ll be teaching jewelry making essentials each day.

These Getting Started workshops are ideal for complete beginners. If you purchase any of the Getting Started workshop classes, you will receive a free one-day marketplace pass as well as a commemorative tote bag to carry your goodies in! With five different classes to choose from, there is something for every beginner to learn.

The All About Seed Beads course will teach you about the different kinds of seed beads and their finishes, as well as materials you’ll need for bead weaving including thread, needles, conditioner, and a bead mat. You’ll venture into your future beading projects with ease.
